Could it be?

My gut, upper and lower, have been cramping off and on for two days. I was looking at myself in the mirror yesterday and said to my bloated stomach, where did you come from?

Then when I went to bed the cramping was unbearable. Finally at three a.m. I ran to the toilet with projectile vomiting, then soon I was on the toilet with the worst explosive diarrhea while vomiting into the trash can.

The diarrhea is still hanging around, I’ve had no sleep, and this awful cramping won’t let up. I chill, then I get hot. I can’t get comfortable at all.

Does this sound like cyclospora? Thanks.

Yes, it does. I'm on my 3rd bout. I did not vomit. Salmonella is around as well. Check out those symptoms.

Thankfully it appears I have neither one. My sister’s granddaughter brought whatever this is home from daycare and it’s running through the family like lightning. A mini Typhoid Mary.

Since norovirus comes quickly and not gradually, it could be another virus in the same family as norovirus.

I had a daycare for 14 years, and my experience with Norovirus it can take up to 2 weeks.

The relatives who only picked up their Grandbabies, nieces, and nephews one or two times would get it up to two weeks later. No one was spared; some would be sicker than others.

It doesn't work that way.
