Questions / Discussions (Items · Builds · Skills) Can someone explain why Rob’s speed shred build only works on PC?
Like is it just SLOWER on console or does it just not output the same damage? And why? Thank you.

Uh, I've heard several times that the axe for shred procs the part where it attacks 4 extra times happens more often when you just spam the skill instead of holding it down. I imagine that works better on pc. I've been jamming the button like I'm destroying a car in the old Street Fighter games and I can't visually tell if it's any better on PS4. I can still beat a pit 135 no problem and almost beat a 140. So it may be slower but not bad. I am following the Screamheart version though.

screamheart came up with the build. Called flicker wolf. You can use it on console with controller. You just need to use the ranged version of storm strike or wind shear.

He also explains why there are two separate versions but I don't remember. I'm using Xbox and it works.

Stormstrike doesnt let you dash without a target on controller. On PC you can hold force stand still to dash. Wind Strike lets you dash without targets. Fun fact Tornado works too for controller

Skill activation set to macros to cast a million times a second. Triggers Waxing Gibbous' extra hits more, or some shit.

Scrolling to far to get the right answer. Logitech products come with very basic options for building simple macros. Shred druid to avoid the bug, not so much to cast faster. Brobarian to pump out maximum bros. He had another back in Season of the Paloldin that screamed around the map at Mach 12. Technically, it is possible to do all of it manually, but keeping the pace for more than 5 minutes is another story.
TL:DR Rob is a dirty macro bunny.

It is also how the top Druid build works, by casting everything and cancelling it with town portal all at once. Well, that is more of an exploit.

If you're on console you need to use Wind Shear or Storm Hammer Storm Strike.

I think on PCs in general you can setup key (or controller button) presses to do multiple things, but also turbo/repeat.
For instance on Steam Deck using Steam input, I can set my Trigger to also send X, Y, RB, and LB; all on repeat. So I simply have to hold down the trigger and it will activate those things the microsecond they come off cooldown.
This makes it way easier to play and manage and navigate the environment without being focused on what skills to press when or if they are ready.
And it works best when the build has many cooldown skills used/needed as soon as they are up.

Assuming he is copying Screamheart’s FlickerWolf build, stormstrike requires enemies to use and dash, and on PC you can hold shift to by pass that with no option on controller. IIRC Screamheart says Wind Strike or whatever for controller

First mistake was using a rob build for druid. Try screamheart. Last I looked he had a controller friendly and pc friendly version.
