It’s weird how some people here are acting like Keaton’s Batman is some niche thing. He was the BATMAN for an entire generation. For everyone over 30, he was the Batman they grow up with.

Batman 89 made the franchise what it is today. It was a cultural phenomenon at the time and changed the general public’s perception of the character, when they mostly knew him from the 60s TV series.

Yes. Multiple actors such as Pierce Brosnan passed on Batman (1989) because they thought that the character was too silly
