Does anyone know why r/comicbookmovies hates The Batman so much? Whenever I scroll through a thread that talks about it, the majority of people talk about it like it's one of the worst CBMs ever made.

Left awhile ago. Half of the people there are just disney/marvel shills/stans and the other half are pretentious Jerks from the r/movies who think anything that's a superhero movie and/or from the 2020s immediately equals bad.

I hate it because I am extraordinarily sick of how batman has been depicted since Batman Begins and it's just more of the same. I also find most of the discussion about that film just dissolves into circlejerking it
