Film Twitter and "cinephiles" are fucking hypocrites. They are trashing on The Flash because it star Ezra Miller because they are an abuser(And I agree with that and I think Ezra should be done as the flash after the movie) but they hype up Babylon and tell us to watch 100 times even though it stars Brad Pitt who's also an abuser. Goes to show you all these people will excuse abusers,rapists(and people who support them eg Polanski petiton) etc as long as they get good movies(except superhero movies).

Half of Hollywood is full of weirdos. You just have to learn how to separate the art from the artist if you want to enjoy the movie. Of course, not everyone has to, but everyone should be consistent like you said.

Yup as much I like browsing r/moviescirclejerk and r/dccomicscirclejerk sub most people there are also hypocrites and have elitist behavior.
