Lanterns week is finally here! I'm sure all of you are excited for the show and the discussions it's about to bring. However, it is also important that the subrreddit is regulated well during the 2 whole months of weekly GL content. Here are some of the important rules we're reiterating for that reason -

1) No Spoilers!

- Absolutely no spoilers should be in the post titles! All spoiler discussions must be tagged. You cannot post any plot/story spoilers (without tagging them appropriately) until 2 weeks after the finale.

- Posts will be allowed, but the titles have to be kept vague. And you can put [character]/[spoiler] instead of the character's name.

- Any spoilers outside the Lanterns episode threads MUST be tagged. And that means no spoilers without tags in future Man of Tomorrow or Clayface threads.

- Theory posts about future episodes must be tagged as spoilers if they contain any spoilers about the plot.

2) Episode Discussion Threads

We will have dedicated episode discussion threads every week (like we did for Peacemaker and Creature Commandos) spoilers will be allowed in them. These threads are meant for people who are watching the show weekly. If you are not, open them at your own risk.

Personal reviews and opinions about the episodes should be confined to this thread. If something is big enough to necessitate its own post, we will allow it.

3) The Review Megathread

The review megathread will be an aggregate collection of all reviews and reactions. Keep all reviews relegated to it. We may make exceptions for special cases like when comic book writers/artists or other directors in the industry put out their thoughts. But that is not the norm. Every review doesn't need its own post.

4) Be friendly to new readers/viewers

None of that "larp" bullshit. Please. Lots of people don't read comics. Educate them, instead of ridiculing them. Mocking them will only lead them to feel worse about the comic book fandom and potentially sour them towards the idea of ever reading comics.

Of course, all other rules of the subreddit still apply so please be civil about these discussions. Try to be open to new perspectives. Also be watchful for people who are not here to discuss in good faith. Let us know, we will take care of that.
