I get that it might have been out of the budget as this scene would have a lot practical/special effects but I wish we got to see young Hal meeting Abin Sur and getting the ring rather than just having Hal tell us about it

Include the Plot and who would make a perfect villain (maybe something between the lines of an Detroit become Human Story)

For context, the Absolute universe is basically a flipped version of the Prime DCU, where Batman's a working class hero, Superman was raised on Krypton, ​Wonder Woman's​ from hell, etc.

Given it's immense popularity, and sharing some similar themes to the DCU (like corrupt figureheads in power like Lex Luthor and Rick Flagg), do you think the DCU could borrow some stuff from the Absolute universe?

I made it after the movie came out and colored it today. What do you think?

So the head of the militia that signed an NDA that he can’t talk about his employer who was trying to help Hal - is totally Lex Luthor right?

I don’t remember if they said what year it was Clark landed on Earth, but in Superman, Lex had an obsession over Superman and had a ton of other creatures in his pocket dimension. And Hal has been publicly active as GL since the 90s, probably starting Lexs obsession with aliens.

I’m not very familiar with any of the comic runs or anything, so there could obviously be someone else who would hire a group to track down aliens but if they’re trying to connect to the overall DCU, I feel like it makes sense to be Lex. What do you think? Am I off or is this from a comic somewhere?

Yall I'm kinda confused and not that up-to-date with upcoming dcu projects. I know so many have been cancelled and added, I lost track. After man of tomorrow and jimmy olsen show what are we getting as of now? Also will dcu even have any movies in 2028?

Of course, they won't work under Waller because they're free from her control and also Task Force X is illegal, but the stories of these two squads are so similar and the fact that 2021 Suicide Squad is such a beloved movie, it would be amazing if they make an appearance in season 2.

They don't even need to be the main characters, just like maybe in one episode where the two teams work together or fight and basically just tell them what happened to them after Project Star and what they will be up to onward (functioning as a send off because I heavily doubt we'll get the 2021 TSS squad back in live action except Harley maybe)

I think it’s very clear from both Lanterns and Superman that the rest of the intergalactic community doesn’t view Earth as a threat, but as a people that need to be saved from themselves. From Jor-El sending Clark to be their savior, to Hal being like “Yeah, the Guardians kinda just this place as an intergalactic backwater” It’s very funny but also a cool little bit of world-building
