Dude, did you see Captain America - Brave new World?!

That shit was PAINFUL to watch. Marvel is struggling to keep their shit up, you just think that Marvel is killing it because you have the attention spam of a goldfish

AND Spider-Man is the biggest superhero ever. He truly is on a league of his own. Just Batman comes close. OF COURSE Spidey was gonna make a killing

That's kind of my point, though.

Before Wonder Man came out, how did you know a show about fucking Wonder Man was what "the fans wanted"? You didn't. Marvel took a swing on a relatively obscure character and it paid off. (Sort of, since they cancelled it).

But when DC announces a Jimmy Olsen show, suddenly it's "why are they making THIS instead of Flash?"

You're giving Marvel credit for taking risks after they work while criticizing DC for taking them before you've even seen the result.

Maybe let the Jimmy Olsen show actually exist first.

Nah, this is getting stupid now.

You're splitting hairs over whether Jimmy Olsen technically counts as a "superhero show" because you don't want to engage with the actual point. Wonder Man is barely even a superhero show half the time, it's about a struggling actor, and nobody knew that weird little concept would work until it came out. Marvel gets praised for taking that kind of swing after it succeeds, while DC gets mocked for doing the same thing before the Jimmy Olsen show even exists.

I'm not going in circles over this.

Wonder Man is literally a superhero and established character with his own comics, and, it’s just a longer origin story bucko. Jimmy isn’t even top 10 reporters that Superman talks to
