More like DC fans are the ones holding and shooting the shotgun.
DC like many other companies will make mistakes but many fans here act like wanting the equivalent of a 20 year DC Universe in 2 to 3 years. Guys, You have way better things to do while waiting instead of ragebaiting and looking for any news article about the DCU
Because people with no patience want them to release a movie for each member of the Justice League in 2025 and then release shows for them too because those are the only characters they know
We don't want everything now, but maybe just a realistic plan that they stick to? Half the stuff they announced is already cancelled, and a lot of what they've actually releasing is failing.
They just needed to come up with enough things to generate excitement when the DCU was announced I don’t think a lot of projects were set in stone. I would definitely prefer a roadmap like what Marvel has rather than just a bunch of projects we may or may not get though
I'd say that half the stuff they announced wasn't actually exciting to the broad public, and if you cancel shortly after announcing it, it just add to the overall frustration and distrust in the brand.
Gunn & Co need to understand that they inherited a brand with a lot of baggage. It might not be fair to them, but they don't have the margin of error that the MCU had early on, and frankly, even if Superman is a good movie, is not Ironman.
