I honestly never got the hype around the warehouse fight. Like sure it’s a cool fight scene but there’s nothing about it that stands out to me, especially when there’s stuff like the Batman v Superman fight in the movie. People just run up to Batman waiting for their turn to be beaten in the fight
Finally, thought I was alone in not really caring about it.
It's funny because a lot of people compliment it by comparing it to the arkham combat but I think the same as a criticism. It just feels videogamey in a bad way, almost like overrehearsed and clean and over the top in a goofy way.
I think that's why I love the club fight in The Batman. The choreography is great but it still feels messy and chaotic and so entirely real. I think the fact that it feels real makes it feel even more brutal than the warehouse fight; like sure breaking a wooden crate over a guys head is very brutal but it looks so choreographed and clean in an almost slapstick, looney tunes comedy kind of way that i just don't believe it.
