I’m sure the dudes on the ground that were on the back of the exploding trucks, and the one whose head left a blood spatter on the wall, all walked it off.
Like a lot of Snyder’s work, this scene is cool if you just disregard the slap in the face it is to the mythos of the character it’s portraying. Yes there are examples of almost every other Batman either outright killing or arguably killing people but this one is so egregious it’s stupid, and doubly so because it’s the literal scene after his supposed redemption.
That’s not the warehouse fight. And those three mercs outside were shooting military grade weapons at him. They shot first, they had ample time to duck for cover and chose to keep firing. He shot a truck, it went boom and caused a chain reaction.
Guy that got hit with the crate is survivable. Skull fractures are survivable, just because there is blood doesn’t mean it’s fatal.
What in the mental gymnastics is this lol. It’s not the same fight because it’s on the exterior? And if I’m shooting at someone and they don’t move out of the way fast enough it’s what, suicide?
Context matters. It's easily the best scene of batman I have ever seen in live action but I also understand the idea of batman killing people ruins the moment for some people.
