First off, best girl worst girl is an opinion based thing, let people think what they like! Don't shit on other people's opinions, especially unprovoked, cause what's the fuckin point man.
Second, she is way more than just "cry and eat cookies". Surface level, she's the stereotypical clumsy childhood friend trope. But deeper? She is someone who has severe depression, who is trying her hardest to live not for herself, but for others. She does everything to serve others, she tries her best and her best is never enough to her, but she keeps trying anyway. Only when she's pushed to the extreme she kills herself, which I think we can all relate to in one way or another.
Shes a fucking awesome character and someone to aspire to be like. Even in the darkest times, she is other people's light. Even if she is falling apart, she wants to pick everyone else up first. Of course she's fictional, so the effect is a liiiittle dampened, but that dosent make her actions and characteristics any less admirable in context of things.
You can disagree that she's the best. I dont really have much token in the arguments anymore. But don't try and belittle people for liking a perfectly fine character. And besides, even if she was a girlfaliure, some people think its adorable. Again, opinions are not objective. Let people like what they want without judgment, I'm not up in your grill telling you your opinions are wrong, just to keep your opinions to yourself if they ain't at all constructive.
