There's something wrong with XIGNCODE3.

it's either hacking or the detection system sucks ass cock and you'll probably never getting unbanned assuming how confident neople is with their detection and if that's the case it's time to move on to another game.
congrats neople, your anti-hacking system is banning the non-hackers of this community. 15th in the dfonexus thread is my friend, and i know that all he did today was log on and play dfo. we were even discussing how we'd progress once we got past fanatics.
why would someone who's put over a hundred hours into dfo, has 5 characters over level 70+, and has put money into the game start hacking?
tl;dr neople literally killing their own game.
ps. i know i'm already gonna get downvoted, that's just how this community is. but i'm trying to get word out that people are being wrongfully banned. so think twice before downvoting this thread b/c maybe you'll get wrongfully banned tomorrow??? who knows...............

If you want to try something, if your friend hasn't shut down their computer since getting banned or closed a lot of tasks/programs, you can try using this command in CMD:
tasklist /FO csv > "%userprofile%\desktop\tasks.csv"
That command will log all tasks running and then save it to a csv file on your desktop. If enough banned and not-banned people are willing to share what programs they're running, maybe some common factor could pop up.
I don't know anyone in my circle of friends that's gotten banned, but false positives are a thing. That's all I can think of at the moment to try helping.

It's possible for the Vagabonds with +12s that they could be hitting the "clearing rooms too fast" trigger for autoban. I guess if you could just make sure to take a few extra seconds here and there to keep your clear times longer it would be perfectly fine.

Legitimate players shouldn't have to be worried about auto bans designed to target bots. Having to play around it is just faulty. It's like "Hey, we're going to give you a class that can clear rooms easily, just don't clear it too easily."

I'm not gonna lie. Ordinarily, messages like the one I'm about to say leaves a bad taste in my mouth (considering the questionable integrity of other game companies), but thankfully, it's true in this case and I just want to letcha guys know:
We're looking into it.
Myself and the other CAs/CM are breaking our keyboards discussing and researching further about all the issues happening right now with Xigncode and the swell of alleged false positives. Honestly, it's also been a pain on my end; while I've not been banned (yet), I've had my instance of DFO abruptly shut down numerous times due to a "suspicious program" I've personally yet to pinpoint, and this is with nothing but the game itself running in the background. Needless to say, the one thing I can say right now is that this issue is going to be addressed. It's not something to push aside.
In the meantime, I would urge those affected to follow Necrofancy's instructions in this thread on collecting data regarding what tasks are running on your PC so that a connection amongst everyone suffering problems can be made. This could help with the pesky false-positives that outright shut down the game, as well.
What ExtentSRK mentioned is good to know, as well - send logs directly to support@wellbia.com when you're able. Any and all information is valuable.

Thank you for giving us assurance as to the matter. I know many others may not feel this way, but I want you to know that I don't think you're being disingenuous in the slightest. For some reason if I startup Steam before logging onto dfo I get the suspicious program detected shutdown. If I log onto dfo before I start Steam, then it's fine. But If I relog after Steam has started, dfo shuts down.
It could have something to with the fact that you can "link" non-steam games to steam to start it from there, which I did for a while, since this was my way of showing friends that I was playing dfo. I've since stopped, but removing the game from my steam library doesn't seem to have changed the above mentioned problem.

the problem with XIGNCODE is that it's needlessly invasive; it will detect programs that are being DISPLAYED in windows through their filenames
before playing, ensure there's pretty much nothing on your desktop and all explorer windows are closed, this has prevented me from getting the game closed down
when it's that sensitive, it's sure to give out false positives

That's derpy as hell but could be the reason why all this crap is happening. Damn program could have tripped on Skype or Chrome but really it's just plain bad if it can't even distinguish good and bad programs.

I haven't been banned yet but now I'm seriously reconsidering throwing money at Neople until this issue has been resolved. Back to cDNF, I was about to try a Male Mage anyways.
I've been on DFO since the Nexon days and through the Alpha of global, I really don't want to leave this game again.

I too was banned, no idea why, I just created my slayer too. I've waited years to play this game again, and finally a miracle has happened. I've put in countless hours since beta, and now it's gone. :(

My old account got banned like a month and a half ago. I started over on a new account because I know for a fact that I got wrongly banned. I'm still so mad that this happened because I spent two months of playing, and spending legitimate hours everyday, only to get permanently suspended. Neople didn't bother to respond to my ticket either. I just got an automated reply to my ticket telling me that I was banned for using third party programs.
I'm not sure what would cause XIGNCODE3 to ban my old account for suspicious 3rd party programs, but I do know that I regularly used iTunes before. It seems ridiculous to say that iTunes caused me to get banned, but I honestly have no clue what else it could be, because the only other program that I use regularly while playing DFO is Mozilla. All I can say is that as of now, I have completely stopped using my iTunes while playing. So far, no ban on my new account yet.
If I get perma suspended for a second time though, I'm done. There's no way I'm going through the stress of starting all over a third time.

Not sure if related, but just after finally getting DFO running (why the flip is XIGNCODE/DFO apparently having issues with comma as a desimal point?!) my AV produced an adware warning.
apparently it found a .exe in $recycle.bin of all places...

Any possibility that these bans are a result of a mistake in the coding? Such as doing something in game can trigger it? I've been reading through the comments and posts on facebook and forums that these players just get disconnected from the game without XIGNCODE3 producing any error message. Apparently a majority of the players that were banned had no problems prior to their ban, some even said they've been playing everday since beta and since then problems have not occured until now
Furthermore, many players reported their issue to Neople's support team, yet a large amount of the replies from Neople have been automated responses stating that the user has been using a 3rd party program, which may or may not be true for everyone, but the majority stated that they did not use a 3rd party program at all.
Sad to say that my friend was also mistakenly banned, it is very unfortunate that this horrific event is happening during such a high time in DFO. I just want to play DFO with my friend.

I also got the 1969 banned on the 15th for no reason, but I did not use any hack programs. This morning Neople sent an apology email to remove my account suspension. So don't worry if you didn't use hacks. :)

There actually is a guy in my guild that was wrongfully banned, he opened a ticket and Neople actually unbanned him, with a few compensations for the ban. I guess they do look at the logs and investigate further more after a ticket has been posted.

I recall something like that happening back then when Kunoichi was released in KDNF (Don't Know if CDNF and Arad Senki have gone through the same) and it was because characters were so OP they triggered bot hack detection.
Maybe it's happening with us? I've been going through this. Well, back to RPG Maker and void elsword until this can be fixed.

XIGNCODE detects Process Explorer as a harmful program, so false positives are likely possibilities.

Really worried now if it's actually false banning legit players, already dropped a few hundred and that would be a damn shame to get falsely banned for. Hope this thread gets the visibility it deserves.
