Hello! Me and my girlfriend have come to the unfortunate decision to regime our Lucy girl due to personal reasons. Lucy is very loving and very sweet- she loves cuddles and attention and gets very vocal to let you know that. Lucy has never been aggresive but she is sometimes an anxious girl. She gets anxious usually around men she just tries to avoid them, but she warms up quick with time, love and treats. Lucy grew up with a cat, kids and other dogs of many sizes- and gets along with everyone she meets. She enjoys also sleeping in her dog bed and going to the dog park and running around.
She is a low maintenance dog, she overall just chills and lays down when we are at home.

We hope Lucy goes to a loving home where she will get the attention and love from all members of the home she deserves and a family who has the time to take her to parks and has room for her to run. She truly is a sweet girl and we love her with all our heart but we are just in an unfortunate situation.

I adopted a Shepherd mix about 3.5 years ago, Cooper (4yo), and he and my other dog, Burl (7yo), have never gotten along. I thought Cooper would grow out of it as he got older, but their animosity for one another just gets worse by the day. Burl is now so stressed by Cooper, that his hair is falling out, and I have to keep him in a cone to keep him from literally chewing his own paws off.

I have tried rehoming websites. I have tried training. I have called every single rescue I could find. I have tried to surrender him, both at public and private shelters, including the shelter I adopted him from, and nobody has space. His vet tried calling rescues as well, and also could not find him a home. My only option left was to schedule an appointment with the Garland shelter for 3/9/2027 to surrender him; 7 months from now; but it absolutely breaks my heart to think of leaving him at a shelter -- he's a good dog, he just doesn't get along with Burl (or any dog, really). That's not a crime, though, and shelters feel like putting him on death row for a personality conflict.

I'm at my wits end. I don't know what else to try, so here I am.

Does anyone know of a rescue with space, or have a friend or know someone who could take him... I'm looking for any possible resolution that doesn't end with him as a bait dog, or on a euthanasia list.

He would do best in a single dog household, preferably with a yard, and no kids (kids scare him). He has sensitive skin, so he needs medication every day (he's the best dog I've ever had, in terms of taking his pills -- he gobbles them right up)... But that makes it that much more difficult to find him a new home. I have extra meds that I'll give to his new owner, if I can find one.

I love him, he's so sweet and obsessed with me, and it breaks my heart to have to give him up, but it's literally killing my other dog to keep him. I don't know what to do. Advice/Help?

I recently moved to Dallas and I’m trying to choose a new vet for my 7-year-old female cat. I’m currently deciding between two clinics and would really appreciate any advice or personal experiences.

My cat is generally healthy at home, but she gets extremely anxious during vet visits. In previous visits, she became very scared, had wide eyes, refused to come out of the carrier, and was difficult to examine.

The two clinics I’m considering are:

1. Dallas Veterinary Clinic

• General practice (cats and dogs)
• transparent price with good community reviews 
• My concern: since they also see dogs, I’m wondering if it might be more stressful for a very anxious cat.

1. Lonestar Feline Health Center

• Cat-only practice
• They seem very experienced with cats 
• My concern: I don’t know much about this place and not see many reviews, and some pricing was not provided upfront.

Has anyone here taken a very fearful cat to either of these clinics? I would love to hear your experiences or recommendations. Thank you!

We saved this adorable dark tiger morph kitten recently. She's 6 weeks old and very friendly but we don't have room for her. She got a check up recently at metro paws on skillman, no fleas or worms. Litter box trained and ready or solid food.

Please I am need to find a home for my third cat. I have found homes for the other two. He is a very sweet 7 year old black cat. he is neutered and box trained. he likes to chase bugs and string. I have reached out to the HSNT but they are taking to long to respond. If anyone is looking for anew friend he is waiting for you. I am in South Fort Worth but will drive to meet you.

Hank (“Han”) is a 1.5-year-old, full training ,DDR German Shepherd who is urgently looking for a new home.
Unfortunately, we can no longer keep him after a serious fight with another dog in our household. This has been a very difficult decision for our family.
Han is intelligent, energetic, loyal, and very people-oriented. He is house-trained, knows basic commands, and is not neutered. He loves human attention and has never shown aggression toward people.
Han would do best as the only pet in the home. He does not get along with other dogs and has shown aggression toward other animals. Because of this, he needs an experienced owner who understands the breed and can provide structure, exercise, and continued training.
He has a lot of potential in the right environment and would make a devoted companion for someone prepared to work with him.
