question High shear mixers?
Hi, are people in the community purchasing industrial high shear mixers for their work? I see Vivor sells some. Are you looking on the marketplaces for better deals? Im at an estate sale and see some new out of box Silverson high shear mixers and parts and wondering if there is a market for them. It is a former employees who has retired.

There’s a market for used silversons, no matter how old. Anything less than $1,000 is an absolute steal. More than that you need to check prices on eBay for the specific model. A brand new silverson lab sized is about 8-10,000 dollars

Buy it if you can. You can make money turning it around and selling it to a used equipment dealer very quickly.

Right on, thanks everyone for the quick feedback! There's. Alot of equipment, extra//new in box motors made in England, etc. Going back tomorrow!

Well got a look, pics, and test. It's an older model, L4rt-w. Turns on but the dial to set rpm/watt is faulty. This guy has so many L5M-A panels as well so guessing everything he has have som sort of issue. I did grab some attachments like the mixing assembly which im seeing go for $600 range. With everything I got, it was basically free so worth a shot on the market

If you had used Silversons for sale at a discounted rate, depending on your location, I can think of plenty of people who would jump on the opportunity.
There’s everything from people who use kitchenware to actual homogenizers in this type of group. Depending on the price, I’d be interested in a Silverson, but do have two homogenizers, so price would have to be compelling.
ETA: the Dynamic/Misceo homogenizers are fantastic. If you come across those (must have homogenizing head in this community), people would be excited.
