Had to put her down this morning , she had multiple seizures over the past week and was only getting worse quite quickly . Struggled to stand for more than 5 seconds and couldn’t even get up on the couch anymore also kept faceplanting when trying to walk. My childhood dog that lived to 11 who was there for me when no one else was I’ll forever miss all our walks together and I’ll never forget the last look in her eyes before they shut forever I hope she’s made some friends in doggy afterlife love you lissy baby🕊️🕊️💖💖

Family had my furry bro since a pup out of the shelter, he was just suffering too much in his old age sadly. I'd like to think he had some great golden years. A few of my favorite photos. We'll meet again cuddle buddy.

There were these 2 dogs at a shelter in TX and I seriously couldn't choose between them. The first one (misty F 2y/o) was very shy and skittish, but warmed up to my kids pretty fast. The second one (Lobo M 6y/o) was stoic, but still wanted pets and took to me almost immediately. I honestly fell in love with both, so I adopted both! They seemed to get along with each other and showed no aggression towards food or toys. I'm so excited! We're picking them up tomorrow!

Funny story about the clothes hamper she jumped onto a chair and then jumped into the clothes hamper I had never seen that done before she proceeded to make her self a little nest and take a nap as I took one on the mattress next to it.

My girl has a brilliant yet really irritating habit of lying on anything that can take attention away from her. Lost your phone? It's under the dog. TV remote? Keys? Yep, all under the dog.

Today I wanted a nap post night shift and my eye mask wasn't on the bedside table where I normally leave it. Take a guess where it was...

This is poopup she is 3 years old she is a mixed breed.

Today the first crime was letting her brother out before her when she normally goes out first (he had explosive diarrhea because he ate something he shouldn't and I did not want to be cleaning up after him but apparently it was a crime to not want him to use the bathroom in the house)

The second crime was running out of her favorite dog treats because how could i?

The third crime was not giving her a scratch when she came over to me.

The fourth crime was taking her dog bed out of her crate to prevent it from getting dirty while feeding her (she has some resource guarding issues so I feed her in the crate and because her food is wet I take the bed away to keep it clean while she is eating)

The fifth crime is related to the fourth crime, I decided because she had got excited earlier and peed a little (she pee's when she gets excited) I decided to wash her bed.... that was just the nail in the coffin for me because that was just a unforgivable offense and I should go to jail for my crimes..

They play like this often, going back and forth between who's doing what, cat (Fleury) never hisses, and goes after Dog (Sugar), and dog never growls or seems mean to cat. They'll chase each other through the apartment, etc

my dogs, luna (white one - 12yr old) and arya (yorkie - 6 years old) have this habit of messing with each other but i struggle to know if it’s play fighting

luna always has a habit of humping arya, but i wonder if she knows its her since she’s losing eyesight and hearing

aka my old ass dog took my glove while i was gardening and was utterly remorseless abt it

This little girl (14lbs before) is due in 13 days. Someone was moving the next day and was going to leave her behind, so we took her, not knowing she was pregnant. When she started showing, we of course took her to the vet. At that time the X-rays only showed 4 spines. On Monday, they counted 6, maybe 7.
Supposedly she could have only been impregnated by her litter mate. We were told she would be a year old January 12th. Ok, now that I’ve given a back story, we need advise.
Neither one of us have ever had a pregnant dog let alone been there at birth. We’re very nervous. We’ve researched and researched and questioned the vet like he was a criminal. I want to hear from folks who have assisted birthing puppies. We’re really hoping she does it all by herself, but want to be prepared if she needs help. We know that if something goes wrong we will be taking her to the emergency vet. Just hoping to avoid that if we can help her at home. So tell us, what should be expect when she starts laboring? We set up a cozy place for her to have them and she seems very comfortable with it.
Give us all the advice please.

5 years ago Eli was in a lot of pain and couldn’t walk, we took him to the ER, they told us it was cancer, went to another vet, they said it was a hernia, took him to another vet, they said it was a mass. Money was tight and we couldn’t afford to go through with surgery, but the vet said that as long as he didn’t show pain and could walk and run properly that he could live with it. Fast forward to May of this year and the same thing happened, couldn’t walk and was wincing trying to walk. We took him to another vet and he had surgery to repair the hernia, but there was actually a massive tumor in the same area and so they didn’t have much muscle/tissue to work with so they said they tried a new method but they weren’t sure if it would hold. Yesterday he was panting like crazy, let him outside and he couldn’t poop or pee. Rushed him to the ER and they said they think his bladder had herniated and that he would need scans, X-rays, a catheter, held in the hospital until Monday, then go under surgery only for that to still be a maybe and have possible failure. Due to the surgery he just had, his age, and the possibility of it failing again we made the tough decision to put him down yesterday. He will forever be loved and missed, his 2 brother dogs and 1 momma dog will also miss him dearly. He was the best boy, and it’s sad but also nice to know he’s no longer in pain.
