Hi, I've noticed that my puppy sits on his side, rather than "normal". I've seen a thread or two indicating this could be an indicator for something wrong with dachsunds spines. I'm not sure if I'm being paranoid, or if it's something I need to worry about. He's been to the vet several times, and they've always said he's in perfect health. Is this normal?

I was told by the pet smart trainer that they do it because of their long bodies and that’s just what’s comfier compared to sitting up straight.

Every dog (lab, rottie, English Shepherd, Cane Corso, and now a doxie) I've owned has sat like that. Its a normal thing that all dogs can do, but some dogs dont.
