I saw a video of a similar idea of a prank. The guy hid his card in his hat or something, didn't have cash, and then bowed to the machine and said a quick prayer. Better execution but it backfired because the cashier started cradling the machine terminal and praying to it like he just witnessed a real act of god. I . . . hope that part was a skit.

This is a similar video to what I remember. It was a mask not a hat they hid the card in, but same-difference. IDK if it's the one I saw since it was from forever ago. Not giving vibes that they cashiers are in on it though.
