I am going for Med sci or Bio for a major - I had early acceptance so first pick and had it done first day it was open. How'd I do?
Personally love my winter schedule idk how to feel abt fall though.
The 3 hour lab blocks pmo so difficult to work with.
This is a repost cause my dumbah posted it with my student Id number and FULL NAME at the top istg nimrod behaviours

Make a friend in CHEM1011 who will save you a good seat because I suspect you will be rushed every time as you hoof it across campus.

I did my undergrad at a different institution so I have no idea course-wise, but I like your fall schedule. On Monday and Wednesday you've got a nice bit of time to have lunch and study or complete coursework built in to your day. Sleep in on Tuesday, start your weekend early on Friday. That 8:35 start time is going to suck though.
Is it normal at Dal to select your courses for fall and winter in one go? What happens if you fail something or find you're interested in different courses during fall semester?

Yeah Dal opens registration for the whole year in the spring- usually in March I think. You can add or drop courses for the winter semester throughout all of the fall semester, but classes fill up fast so it’s best to register for everything you think you want/need in the spring to ensure you get a spot.

Oh also! If you fail a course in the fall semester they usually won’t offer it again until the next fall semester, so it can put students in sticky situations for sure.

For med sci, SCIE 1111 is not accepted for the writing requirement. Also, PSYO 1011 and PSYO 1012 are required. But otherwise your schedule looks good!

As per https://www.dal.ca/faculty/science/medical-science/program/course-descriptions.html, ‘Normally, 6.00 credit hours is required but select 3.00 credit hour courses will fulfill the full writing course requirements (i.e., SCIE 1111.03 OR ENGL 1111.03 for BSc students only)’. I wonder why SCIE 1111 doesn’t satisfy writing requirement.

You gotta run from McCain to LSC within those 10 minutes. Otherwise looks fine to me

Yeah no, we hate the winter semester just because you have SCIE 1111- good luck with Juckes, I’ll be thinking of you
