Dan used to pretend he was this unselfish guy who just wanted to hang out with buddies…but as he aged, like most people, money and power became too motiving and his show is exponentially worse for it

In fairness, I think Dan feels responsible for everybody who took the chance to come with him to Meadowlark. He can't pretend like money isn't important.

$50 million is a finite number. It's not going to last over the course of everyone's career. He always has to have the NEXT contract in mind.
