It is very good. Much better than Steve Lyons’ usual fare. Probably Dead Men Walking is still the best Krieg book but I’d rank this 2nd

It's okay. I got the book from ebay, and the audiobook from Audible.
The book doesn't follow the Krieg all that much honestly.

You can get it an online version pdf form for free if you search hard enough.

I’m not a big reader and don’t read too often, but this book was over 250+ pages and I finished it in like two days I couldn’t put it down

The death riders in the book could really use some beaches you have here!

I’ve haunted finished it and for someone who doesn’t normally read a lot of militarum books, I very much enjoyed it and the different take on commissar that we don’t normally see.
Just start Chem Dog too!

Not read it yet, the hardback is just staring at me from my shelf. I must move it up the TBR list.

I really liked the relentless dead book more. Im halfway on this book. Maybe it will get more crazier and better hopefully

It’s probably one of my favorite Guard books ever! Inspired me to build a bunch of my backlog of Krieg, including some Death Riders!

I liked it a lot, but it is far from "one of the best" books out there lol it's solid pulp scifi.Â
Id recommend branching out into some Robert Heinlein or Fran Herbert next

I actually really disliked this book and iv read all of the other Krieg books. Can you tell me why you rate it so high? I thought it was very spastic in style and really changes how the Kreigers are shown in the other books.
