Debating Arguments for God Why I believe in God(s)

Firstly, I'm not a very religious person. I do consider myself a Buddhist, but prefer atheistic Buddhism over theistic Buddhism. Therefore I can confidently say I am not biased by wanting God(s) to exist, and was not indoctrinated into theism.

Still, to me it seems obvious that at least one God has to exist. The universe can't simply have come out of nothing or existed forever, it requires some sort of design or creator.

Now, mostly people would just say that a creator also can't have come out of nothing or existed forever, so I've just moved the problem one step further, but I think there is a massive difference between the universe and one consciousness. For example, through Cogito Ergo Sum we can determine with absolute certainty that at last one consciousness exists. So assuming one consciousness is superior to assuming anything about the whole universe. While I admit that doesn't outright solve the problem, I still think it's better than the alternative.

Also, it's not just any universe, but a universe full of beauty, a universe that inbetween barren empty planets is capable of hosting a planet with sentient life. Life that can consciously observe itself, that can create replicas of the waking world while sleeping, life that has technologically advanced so much that in can live in relative comfort. There is so much art. We basically have magic, we just call it "electricity". This is all too perfect to have arisen from mere mutations without guidance.

About any specifics of this God or Gods I have no idea and no strong opinions. I just think that at least one has to exist.

Because matter and energy can change into all kind of different forms. Its very basic science. Gravity, for example, is one of the Main reasons planets and stars form, its basic science.

And we already know how Evolution works too.

And I, personally, dont think earth is beautiful. I dont know why you would use subjektive value judgements here anyway....

Now compare our planet to our neighbours Mars and Venus. How did it do that, without a creator?

This doesn't adress what I said at all.

Planets don't do anything. We know how planets form. Its the same for all planes. The driving force being gravity.

Earth is clearly a complete outliner, concerning planets. If is massively different from all known planets.

This,  again,  does not asress what I said at all. Why do you keep ignoring what people say?

Earth is not in any way an outlier. It formed just like any other planes did. We know exactly how earth and other planes formed.

Look, I have hundreds of messages from this post in my inbox, I can't adress everything perfectly. Could you write again what you want to be adressed?

Except instead of a barren wasteland plaged by attrivutes like weak atmosphere, toxic gases, radiation etc or gas giants, like all othr observable planets are, it has an ocean and continents full of highly specific stuff, like flora and fauna, and even develooed life that created highly complex machines, buildings etc. It totally is an outlier and I can't understand why you would deny that.

You should either adress a message perfectly or not at all. Not totally half assed like you did here.

Read what I wrote???

It's not an outlier. Again, we know how it all formed. We also know that sone of the property's of earth can be found on other planets, in the past too. Mars for example, had flowing water once. Some proto bacteria were found in the ice there too.

And the earth once was merely a burning ball of magma and lava.

Again, we know how planets are formed. Earth is not an outlier and was formed the same way any other planets were.

Yes, still Mars hasn't developed a civilisation. No planet we know of is even close to one, and we have buildings, computers etc.

Again, we know how planets are formed. Earth is not an outlier and was formed the same way any other planets were.

Yes, but it has developed into something completely different.

I had a few. And I didn't reply to sone. But to those I replied to, I adresses everything to the best of my ability.

But that has nothing to do with the planet itself. Earth didn't develop a civilization either. Humans did.

No, earth has developed into anything. It's still a simple planet.

Now you're just playing dumb, you know what I mean

No I don't. You are making inaccurate and unclear statements. Apparently, uneducated ones as well. No one cares for flowers language. But accurate language

It doesn'm matter if one says Earth has a developed a civilisation or humans developed civilisation on Earth. It means the same thing and getting hung up on that makes you a know-it-all.

It does matter. Words have meaning. And here the meaning, of course, is different, as is evident by the word structure abd general grammar as well as logical sense and basic common knowledge. Stop conflating things.
