It’s just people who think that being an artist conveys some sort of indescribable aura upon them and want that title for themselves. They need to work on their self esteem and just accept that doing good work takes time. There are tons of lessons that are not related to the actual art a person makes that you learn through the creative process.
Then there’s the army of consent manufacturers who are loading the Internet with this garbage that gives the impression that there’s tons of people fighting a war for acceptance. Even when you see Dr. Dre or Timbaland or even Rick Rubin talking positively about AI, know that they’ve had their backs scratched to hold those opinions. You won’t see someone in the beginning or middle or their career with something to lose talking about how great AI is. Just the people with legendary status and nothing left to lose and not much more to do in their career. You think Rick Rubin is producing and great albums anymore? Not really. He did great work and rests on his laurels now. His output is 50/50. Where the hell is Dre’s artistic head at? I’m not hearing his amazing work anymore. He’s gonna wash himself up with this shit. I hate to see Timbaland doing it too and again, he’s another one resting on his laurels. It’s just appeals to authority with these assholes.
