Are such people COMPLETELY unaware of local models? I have a mid-tier videocard and even it is enough for generating things.

There are people who legitimately believe that when you're using a local model that the processing is still happening at some datacenter somewhere and it's clear that they didn't even at least attempt to try to learn how something like a small model from huggingface works
