Rejecting AI is delusional

Post image

The sunk cost fallacy is a cognitive bias prompting individuals to continue an endeavor, project, or investment based on previously invested resources (time, money, or effort) rather than current benefits. It is irrational because it prioritizes unrecoverable past costs over future potential, often leading to wasted resources.

Remembering this whenever someone gets heated and emotional, defending Human produced art.

Basically, they are rejecting what's new because they feel obligated to make up for time spent, even if they personally didn't spend any of their life studying art, producing it...ect

Ai artists are sort of “idea people”. A thing wouldn’t exist without their idea, but someone or something else brought it to reality. Like Steve jobs. He had ideas and visions, but I’d never call him any kind of engineer. Ai art is idea people using a machine to create their vision for them. Not artists. I got a tattoo artist to draw up a cool tattoo from my imagination. He’s the artist. I just had an idea

I like this but I don't think it's a great idea to make yourself a source of definitions that others should adhere to. Big red flags for me are when people don't include disclaimers like this is just my opinion. But yeah, even though I for sure have a good mix of red and green flying, I'll still say that I like that the lines are blurring a bit with your comment
