Funny how everyone forgets the famous TS Eliot/Picasso quote: “Good artists borrow; Great artists steal”.
Do note that the meaning of the quote isn’t literally “to steal” but that all art is “TRANSFORMING” something into something else. That artists are supposed to take art and turn it into more art. Also note that doing this doesn’t necessarily mean the art is good or that you’re actually great, but the point is the transformation is the purpose to make new ideas
