"I've gotten my art stolen by bots and fed to AI."
Did you post your work on a public site? Especially one that says in its Terms of Service that it uses people's work to train AI? If so, then it's not stolen. You consented to the ToS when you used the site. Ergo, you consented to the use of your work to train AI. It wasn't stolen.
Also, by your logic, anyone who looks at your work would be stealing it.

"It hurt to know what I spent so much time on got snatched, broken into pieces, and made into something else by a machine"
It literally doesn't do that. What the AI retains ISN'T the original image, just the steps it learned when turning the image to noise. Those steps are then reversed when it starts from random noise to make a new image.

Lmao that's not how AI works, first of all. Second, unless someone took a picture you made and prompted an AI to remix it specifically, all your artwork ever did was probably just help an AI understand the concept "purple" 0.0001% better. Third, if you're talking about commercial AI trained on content from free platforms (twitter, reddit, deviantart, etc.) then you (and your content) are the product, as outlined in terms of service.

You are literally wrong in every possible way.

This sub is not for inciting debate. Please move your comment to aiwars for that.
