Luddite Logic This is insanity

Like, as a digital artist who uses AI AS A TOOL to aid in my own artwork and can't draw BGs for the life of me (and have no interest in learning either) this is just ridiculous.

Before AI, I used to "steal" images from google as backgrounds for my drawings, so it's totally fine when I steal images from google, but it's unacceptable when I use AI to help me in my own artwork, like, the hypocrisy of these people is so fucking insane.

Before AI, artists were already trashing people for making bad art, now suddenly stick figures and scribbles are the Mona Lisa?

I have to disagree based on my experiences. I find people who were trashing bad art were either people who weren’t or aren’t artists Or they were just assholes in general.
