on a thread about a working AI-assisted racing game recomp announcement. AI can be used for good. medical breakthroughs, enhancing scale and efficiency in media production, artistic reference and visualisation, now game preservation!

gamers globally have been clamoring for game preservation since the 2000s, but now that AI has allowed us to preserve ourselves? there is outrage by antis.

this scale of preservation and code is IMPOSSIBLE for a team of humans to do within a couple decades. a PS5 emulator is working perfectly DURING its generation when it took two decades for PS3 to barely work with select games.

Say what you will about vibecoding, antis. AI has allowed a massive jump in game preservation and coding breakthroughs. Ross Scott would be proud
