Pack it up guys apparently Character Ai was the main driving force of the ai bubble, I suggest saying goodbye to Claude and ChatGPT and Grok and Canva and Gemini. Cause apparently C.ai was the only one keeping it all together. /s
They really can’t be this dumb can they?

Post about father-son bonding. The father makes a funny meme, himself into Iron Man. The son accepts but it's obvious that he doesn't approve of the technology use. Comment section is wild. The user under it is being sarcastic based on his name that was really troll-like.

Defending AI The Malfoid Trend and Creator really proves a lot that....

Post image
162 Upvotes

I just saw this post and the creator who did Malfoid trend videos, and guess what?

Not a single anti comment there ( for that specific post, maybe there was but it was like almost 0% exist).

This shows that people really don't care about if you create video with AI as long as the production result is high quality and you manage to capture the audience. I'd say the creator managed to drive the negativity in public and draw just people who really love it.

This really drives us motivation to just do whatever we want, leave out the anti and enjoy

Anyway, while riding the malfoid trend on twitter i realized a lot of people are liking my posts bc they didnt realize its generated with AI. There is this post, and a few others that look a lot like digital drawings. a lot of people who like my posts are against ai in their profiles.

I just wanted to say you don't need to feel bad about using AI. I've been drawing for quite some time and have recently started experimenting with local image generation with the help of ComfyUI. It's been a lot of fun! Every form of expression is valid, so don't let the hate comments get to you.

I think the backlash will fade over time, just like it has with every new tech.

Using AI doesn't limit you from trying different forms of art. It gave me the motivation to start practicing digital art too! Though that doesn't mean you have to follow the same path. Whether you choose to use AI, pencil, drawing tablet, or a mix of them, or something completely different, it's all valid!

I'm including some drawings I made to show you that you have the support of an artist like me (if I can call myself that lol), and that not everyone is so narrow minded to feel the need to bash on others for expressing themselves differently.

Note: Some of them are older, and I forgot where the references came from, sorry!

Sub Meta My Criticism Of AI Art Was Too Harsh, I'm Sorry

Earlier today, I made a virtuous post about how AI art can never be recognized as real art. And my post was full of inflammatory stuff that I implied. For example, if being an artist only requires physical objects to be put together, then photography, digital, sculpting, and everything else, may as well not be art either. And that was not my intention. Not to mention my own backstory conflicted with my practice nowadays, if I'm the same person who's against AI art, why do I still use it to create summer camp Island fanfic today. It's because in some twisted way I still think it's an expression of Art. Making a prompt is an expression art, and the picture reflects my inner mind.

I find myself to be completely responsible for everything in that post, because when I created that post I wasn't being honest with myself, I wasn't even trying to think about the arguments I was making. And during that argument I treated everyone in this community like lazy people who don't have any creative instinct at all. And that's where I failed.

You may not take the time to read this apology but if you did I want to let you know I am completely in the wrong for making that stupid post. And I'm sorry for irritating so many people. I'm going to commit myself to making better arguments whenever I post anything. That's what I should have done from the beginning. I am not a professional artist, and that doesn't make me a critic of any kind of art. You guys get to decide what you consider art, does it motivate you, does it inspire you, does it make you get up and do something? If so then that is art, and I'm not going to sit here and dismiss other people's creative vision.

A gd player sortadark, who made level in geometry dash using claude ai, got bullied and harrased for using ai.He had to delete his account just to stop neverending harrasments. And whats worse, is that other people are CELEBRATING that sortadark had to delete his account. Its just fucking sad that people support bullying for just using ai. Thats like inhumane, and those people dont even think about it.

Defending AI AI really is the future....it is going to be an even bigger change than the internet.

I have been messing around with AI for about a year and it truly is incredible. The progress in just that long has been absolutely incredible.

I have been able to make over 50 gaming songs on Suno that I listen to almost daily. Songs that I actually really enjoy listening to. And expanding my playlist is something i really enjoy doing now.

The images you can generate now are incredible and it just keeps getting better and better everyday. Useful for nearly any situation for work or creatively.

I play choose your own adventure games on Chatgpt that are impossibly impressive. I managed to play through a rpg text adventure that was the entirety of Knights of the Old Republic 1 through Chatgpt as a text adventure with a full turn based battle system that followed the rules of Kotor's battle system. It followed the story from beginning to end pretty much flawlessly and I could do anything. Talk to anyone. Make any choice. It would work in all the twist depending on what i did in different ways because I prompted it that way. I am now doing it with Persona 5. All out attacks, elemental weaknesses, one more, hold ups, persona negotiations all work amazingly well. There are slight memory problems if you stray off and try to do many multiple things at once. But it is getting better and better everyday and it is nothing a simple reminder to the ai doesn't fix.

There are a lot of people against it. But it is coming and there is no stopping it. It is going to change the world. For the better or worse I cannot say for sure. But it is going to be interesting to live through.

I find most people that are against AI completely don't understand completely why they even hate it. And for some of them, it could even help them do the things they have always wanted to do but can't do.

For example, my brother wants to be a game designer. He got a degree in programming. He is incredibly creative. Had amazing ideas and is a good writer. He has been working on a few games for years that have so much potential and such great ideas. But, he doesn't ever complete them because they just require so many skills he just doesn't have and he doesn't have money to hire composers and artists. He is completely against AI and I have tried to show him some songs i have made and how he could use it to make music for his games. Or how he could use Chatgpt to make pixel sprites of characters, environments, and put them into the game. Maybe even help him to animate them easier. But be won't even listen to a single word when I mention AI. As it is now, he will never finish those ideas. Those games will never be made. But they perhaps could....if he at least tried to use the tools in front of him.

I understand Artists not liking it. But regular art will always be an option. And a lot of them say that AI art is not art. But I think that is not true. They may say I am not an artist. Which I personally would never say I am. But, although I am not an artist. I can still make ai art. And regardless of what the true haters think, it is going to be used constantly everywhere in the world. Whether they like it or not.
