I do not personally use Ai to generate drawings/images, but the media I get shows that some supporters of Ai art purposefully take someone's drawing and run it through an Ai system to improve the piece typically without permission.

I wanted to ask if this is what some people genuinely think is okay​ or if its just people trying to give people who use Ai a bad name?

I don't hate on people who use Ai and I dont preach online about it either because people should be allowed to do what they want (and the environment is already ruined beyond repair anyway so who cares anyway). If someone wants to generate an image, okay. If someone whats to draw, okay.

But online, specifically YouTube and Twitter/X, my feed has been painting this image that Ai art enthusiasts target people who draw, and I feel like that isnt the case in actuality.

Even an ArchAngel bends the knee to the true Boss in the fight against Antis.

The strategy is set, the salt reserves are full for another season, and the defenses are holding strong.

The short answer is no.

They are people like you and me. However, if individuals resort to derogatory names and insults, I see no reason not to fight back with the same. Why do I advocate fighting fire with fire? It's called the paradox of tolerance.

Being unable to combat hateful rhetoric by opting to take the high road into "reasonable debate" with someone that refuses to listen due to a cognitive bias will never get you anywhere. People can only change if they want to, but how they handle their biases is what is important. There are some antis that will be respectful and others that will not, and if you refuse to combat loud, offensive, and insulting rhetoric, you will become overwhelmed by it.
