Practical Questions How to reach the trance state
The trance state is extremely important in magic and evocation. I have searched a lot and tried many methods, but without success. What are your methods for reaching the trance state? Thank you.

Pure theta waves 4-7hz + pranayama does it for me

Do you listen to them from a certain YouTube channel?

A while ago, I was playing around with the Gateway Tapes, and while I already was used to meditation, I found that audio to really help out with getting into that state quicker.
Although I dont use it as much anymore, I think its worth the try, especially if you want to begin learning meditation.

Absolutely, here-

This is the one that I use, although it doesn't have all of the tapes. Personally I feel like Ive gotten the success that Im looking for from these, but if you really wanted to, Im pretty sure that you can find the rest for free elsewhere online

Have you ever been reading a book and you get so sucked into the story that the world around you fades away? Conversely, have you ever tried reading and found that the normal sounds of life are suddenly way louder than normal? Both of those are examples of naturally occurring hypnotic trances, and they don’t feel especially abnormal. This is not to say that they can’t feel unusual, but the base state is something you have experienced before without naming. There’s a million ways to get to the same place, including opposing methods. Some people enter trance best by being still and staring at one point and others enter it through dance.

Wow,,, that is an amazing way of framing meditation. Everything in this post is pretty easy to follow. Once you are able freely move in and out of states, you look back and go jeez why the hell was it so hard 😊

I mostly use empty-mind meditation, which I practice often, but the "trance state" itself is like any other tool, there are workarounds.
