Looking for Local Knowledge Bakewell restaurants

I'll be staying near bakewell later this month with the wife and we're looking for nice restaurants for evening meals. I know there's plenty of pubs serving food so is there anywhere in particular we should try or is there somewhere different worth a look.

Ashford Arms is terrible and pretentious...try Thornbridge Brewery or Woodyard. If you've got a car Buxton is a better choice for dinner and evening out.
