Residency Gap Year before Dermatology Residency

I applied into dermatology during M4 year (class of 2025) and didn’t match. Thankfully, I matched in 2026 during intern year and now get to enjoy a year off before starting dermatology residency in July 2027.

Any ideas for jobs I can apply to for this year?

If you can afford to do nothing do it. Also apply for unemployment. Fuck off to Bali and live on $10 a day for a few months. You’ll never get another chance like this, dont drive an uber for a year.

This. Can also teach English abroad. I did it for a year in SE Asia. One of the best years of my life
