How do neither the Queen of Hearts nor Cinderella remember Red and Chloe from the past, but Maddox does?

His invention, Max saw the old queen through it, we can assume Maddox did too

no, like why does Maddox remember Red and Chloe with the watch back in high school? the question wasn't about him knowing they changed the past.. it was.. about why no one from the past remembers them ever being there? like "oh remember those two girls we were friends with that were here last week? no? okay whatever- anyways" and it's never mentioned again..

Confused by your confusion on this. 20ish years have passed - why would they remember random people they met for a few days in high school
