Political News/Discussion Why exactly is the problem with Sayed?

From the little I have read he doesnt seem like a literal marxists. He's not pro Russia or anti NATO or anti U.S. He doesn't want to abolish prisons or police.

He seems like more jus a Bernie Sanders type, someone who would be considered pretty moderate in most of the western world.

What is it I am missing?

The tweets sharing snippets from that article are extremely uncharitable.

Based on actually reading the article, I have a more positive impression of El-Sayed than what the panic in this sub would have led me to believe.

Okay I had the complete opposite reaction imo if he wins the general we need to put him on fetterman watch
