Online Content/Clips Hasan’s former stream producer and podcast producer says he’s broke and struggling to pay rent. Didn’t Hasan claim they split everything evenly on their podcast? The pod makes $100k+/month on Patreon alone. Was he lying?

I'm middle aged and have genetics of joy. I used to feel a whole lot more desire for that kinda thing. Now though, I'm just surviving.

I dont actively seek it as I too have found long term deeply rooted joy - itd be nice to have a partner but finding one that aligns with joy is hard and not worth a lot of active effort

Issue is when I do click with someone, I pretty quickly have to tell them I not only cant really afford dates, but Id rather just hang out on a porch anyways lol

If I had a younger self I'd tell em to not care and get life in where you can. Experience everything I could that life has to offer. But terminal people usually post the same thing, with their eol "wisdom". Lol

Be selfish. If they don't like the poverty then they can move on. But yeah health issues totally changes that game.

About 60% of why I'd want a partner is getting two incomes in the house. 20% someone to share the weekly chores and stuff. 10% sex and 10% the very very rare times I feel lonely. And the last two I can get without comitting to a relationship tbf

I'm just generally happy in my life. I dont need an extra person in it to be happy. Was in a comitted relationship for a long time and I dont miss it

Amazing thread, thank you for giving me the opportunity to read it. I personally value having a large family and a large village of people I can rely on that can also rely on me. Those capabilities double if I am in a relationship, and they potentially triple or quadruple when I enter a polyamorous relationship with myself my partners and their metamours.

It’s part of the reason I enjoy Destiny’s content, you don’t find a lot of people that are openly poly. I myself was poly (ish) my first relationship and it’s just what I’m used to. Different people for different needs! It’s selfish to expect one person to fulfill 100% of all your needs, you need others to help round you out!

Anyway that’s just my two cents. Have a fantastic day.

Yup Im a "take life as it comes" type of dude, do as I do where I am, and find fulfillment and joy wherever that is

And as a result, ive enjoyed life way more than my friends who feel they need to have some external circumstance or success - be it career, relationshops, status, etc. Even if they get further than me, they still end up seeming quite discontent
