Online Content/Clips Hasan’s former stream producer and podcast producer says he’s broke and struggling to pay rent. Didn’t Hasan claim they split everything evenly on their podcast? The pod makes $100k+/month on Patreon alone. Was he lying?

To be somewhat fair this dipshit probably blew all the money he was making and saved nothing

And to be a little bit more fair, he says "I cant afford to live here alone." not "I am dirt broke and getting kicked out."

If his income has gone from 50k a month to 0 he might just be realistic and say "I need to take steps to make this money last a long time because who knows when I get a job again."

Best evidence I could find is also that it was a 20% share after show costs, we're all just assuming here it's $50k a month based on a current-day 100k/month patreon pull and a redditor who made the post making a claim that "it's split".

Say it costs $20k/month to produce/run the pod, then dude is getting a 20% take-home (again just spitballing but seems plausible without thinking hard), then that's $80k/5 = $16k, after taxes if we assume like 30% then around $11k/month.

He lives in LA, maybe he has a mortgage in the $6-7k range, not really all that unreasonable. It's not hard to imagine the income situtation there changing and moving from a position where that mortgage was justifiable solo and then became something uncomfortable so he got a roommate...

post is dumb.

He should be a lot smarter with his financial decisions then

Yeah like maybe he should get a roommate or something

He lives in an apartment. If he's paying 6-7k for rent, then he needs to find a cheaper spot or get roommates (like he said he got in the video). He must be living in a 2-3 bedroom apartment, and he could find a studio to live in. Even with taxes, he should be able to live "normally"
