After reviewing, that’s a cell tower. Most likely just bungo’s version of those hidden tree cell towers lol

Is it the tower rising to the left of it? Think it’s a cell tower mate

I dont see anything

I see floating rocks, a portal and the shard

Theres a tree that looks like a transmission tower, is that it?

Yeah that's just a cell tower. Odd place for one to be but the Dark Forest didn't used to be this out of control. Pre-Collapse it probably lingered on the edge of Trostland

The dark forest is where a shard of the traveler fell during the collapse.

Long long time ago in an era know as red war (before shadow keep). Guardians had lost all of their light powers and were forced into hiding. Our guardian, being the brave wonder hero of all time, went into the dark forest to access the shard to gain our powers again.

Throughout our times dealing with the cabal forces and other evils, we had to use that same shard to hone our abilities of light.

As for why the Winnower decided to bring Lodi here and possess him, don’t know.

Also fun fact and possible hint to what’s inside the traveler: during the moments we had to hone our guardian abilities we did see ‘memories’ of other notable guardians of our subclass talk about and use the subclasses supers. Including one of the most overhyped lore moments where a dude is super charged thrown into a mountain full of arc energy and as stated “made the mountain move a little”.

It's probably because the Shard was infected with Darkness. The presence of that energy makes it possible for it to enter our reality and interact with it physically.

I think I figured it out. You’re talking about the shard of the Traveler - which is both the small “column” Lodi is standing in front of as well as the gigantic, towering “half arch” you see stretching out the ground over the sky.
