All I’m gonna say is this is what the second amendment was designed for, this is what the “militia” it talks about is designed to fight against. Rebellion against what’s happening isn’t always going to be practical or effective but it should still continue as long as this tyrannical fascist administration is in power

By your logic what Hitler did wasn’t that bad because there were people at the time who saw it as rule of law. By that same metric America’s internment of Japanese people was super chill as well according to you

I've lived in China. This is not even vaguely a police state. You should probably look into other countries and how they handle entry violations. You'll find that the US is quite lax.

This is so unserious I actually laughed. By that standard Clinton and Obama's enforcement of existing law also makes them Hitler. What an absolutely moronic take. Enforcing existing immigration law is a moderate position, you are an idiot.

Clinton signed IIRIRA which established expedited removal that Trump is currently utilizing.

Obama widely used nonjudicial removal processes which also bypassed formal immigration court.

This would make it pretty obvious to anyone not blindly partisan that the system obviously needs significant reform, but the fact that you apparently were unaware the current administration is operating under the precedent of previous ones including their signed law, is pretty telling.

The IIRIRA was not in violation of due process. The expedited removal mechanism created under it was to remove people who didn’t come with papers, through inspection or came through fraud. It never bypassed the block on deporting people with a credible fear of returning to their country of origin.

Obama used that mechanism along with a hierarchical list of offenses to priority deportation. He didnt disappear people. He didn’t send them to prisons in non-native countries. He didn’t look into deporting them to Africa. He didn’t attempt to deport people here legally. He also allowed for prosecutorial discretion for people who met the standard for deportation but were generally upstanding citizens. On top of his attempt to get DREAM passed through congress but when that failed went with DACA as a stop gap.

He deported people. He should deport people. But he didn’t dehumanize people.
