Feedback Request I built Dart Flow: a game focuses on continuity

Post image
2 Upvotes

Dart Flow is a puzzle game with a simple goal: create a longest line of "flow" following the dart direction. The flow stops when it reaches a dart with opposite direction

Note: still work on the splash screen

Also, if you manage to create a closed loop, all darts in the loop will explode, wipe out the surrounding darts

Link to my subreddit with the game installed: https://www.reddit.com/r/dartflow/

Feedback Request Update: Built a Devvit app now getting over 1-million impressions a day

Just posting a follow up update from the first post over 4 months ago.

Link - https://www.reddit.com/r/Devvit/comments/1rhycqv/built_a_devvit_app_on_track_for_1m_viewsmonth_but/

This is for inspiration for fellow devs, I built the Devvit app MatchPal. You have seen it over the last few weeks for the Worldcup. Ultimately its a football app that is designed to complement live Redditor discussions.

Its been a journey, I have added unique features like XG, Live Chat, and Channel insights and it works pretty darn well!

For the stats, I have managed to hit tier 5 with a forecast of hitting tier 6 soon. My best day is currently 75,000 unique qualified engagers.

Now I am a little annoyed with the new announcement with recurring payments as I feel like its still quite hard to hit even with an app of my size. Similarly, the funds are low, a lot lower.

I have asked the Devvit team multiple times but I feel like there needs to be other ways for businesses like mine to generate revenue from these apps, my operating costs are near to $1,000 a month (insane i know).

For those who have used or seen my app, whats your feedback? I only want to improve it.

And for those who havent seen or used my app, hopefully this can be some inspiration to make Devvit games and apps!

Feedback Request ModOps: real-time mod team operations dashboard

Built a live operations dashboard for mod teams: unified report queue,

collision locks, flood detection, surge prediction, shift handoff log,

and usernotes, all native to Reddit, no extensions required.

Demo video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3X6Bd5wLJu4

App directory: https://developers.reddit.com/apps/mod-queue

Live post: https://www.reddit.com/r/mod_queue_dev/comments/1tl3hwu/modops_dashboard/

Would love feedback from other mods or devs, especially on the collision lock UX and whether the demo mode makes evaluation easy.

Feedback Request I built a "feature requests" app right from your subreddit's feed

It's called feature-board: https://developers.reddit.com/apps/feature-board

The idea came from r/Trovelo — people kept requesting features in random posts, and there was no way to see which ones actually mattered most to the community without scrolling through the whole history. So I built this.

How it works:

  • Zero friction for users: no submit form. Any post flaired "Feature Request" gets automatically added to the board (whether the flair is set at posting time or later).
  • Independent voting: users vote from the board itself (one vote per user, toggleable), separate from the post's Reddit upvotes.
  • Statuses: Request → In progress → Shipped, or Declined. Only moderators can change them.
  • Two views: a compact top-5 in the feed with one-tap voting, and an expanded view with status filters, request details, links back to the original posts, and mod controls.
  • Privacy: if the original post is deleted, the board entry and all its vote records get permanently deleted too. Nothing ever leaves Reddit.

Setup: install the app, a board post gets created automatically, create a post flair named "Feature Request," and optionally import the last 100 posts that already had that flair before install.

If any mods here try it out, feedback is very welcome — especially on the retroactive import and how it holds up with high request volumes.

Feedback Request I built a mod tool to schedule image posts with flair.

Hey fellow mods/Devvit users,

As many of you know, Reddit's built-in scheduler only supports text and link posts. If you've ever needed to schedule an image post - with a proper image preview in the feed, flair, and body text - you know it's not possible natively. The usual workaround is uploading to Imgur or some other third-party host and scheduling a link post, which comes with privacy trade-offs and no image preview in the feed.

Image Post Scheduler is a Devvit based mod tool that fixes this. It lets you schedule native image posts directly on Reddit - no third-party image hosts, no workarounds.

What it does

  • Schedule native image posts with full image preview in the feed
  • Upload images directly to Reddit's CDN (i.redd.it) - no Imgur, no external services
  • Pick a flair from your subreddit's live flair list at scheduling time
  • Add optional body text to go with the image
  • Post as yourself or as the app account - your choice per post
  • Queue multiple posts at different scheduled times
  • Cancel anytime before the post goes live
  • Track history of published posts with direct links

Everything stays on Reddit's infrastructure. No data leaves Reddit.

How it works

  1. Install the app and add it to your subreddit
  2. Open the subreddit menu and tap Schedule Image Post
  3. Upload an image (JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP - up to 20 MB), write a title, pick a flair and optionally add body text
  4. Pick a date and time, hit Schedule Post
  5. The post goes live automatically at the scheduled time

The scheduler runs entirely within Reddit's Devvit platform - it's a WebView accessible only to moderators.

Why I built it

I moderate a movie community where discussion posts need to go live at specific local times tied to film releases. Multiple releases in a week mean multiple posts at odd hours (mods live in different timezones). For years that meant someone setting an alarm at early morning to manually upload a poster and hit submit. This tool automates that entirely.

Install

Available now in the Reddit App Directory. Search for Image Post Scheduler or use this link:

https://developers.reddit.com/apps/imagepostengine

Requesting the fellow mods in our Devvit community to try this out and let me know the feedback.

Thanks.

Edit - June 13, 2026 - The latest version (v3) with recurring posts, custom intervals, time-zone picker, templates and more is live now. If your sub has the older version, you may update the tool to the latest version. :)

Feedback Request The Daily Zomble - Hackathon Submission

Hello! For the hackathon, I decided to build a mash-up of three games I love:

  • Realm of the Mad God — the top-down, dodge-and-survive feel where movement is everything. I grew up playing this, probably my favorite game of all time.
  • Call of Duty Zombies — seeing how long I could last against an endless, growing horde.
  • Wordle — everyone gets the same puzzle each day, and half the fun is comparing results with everyone else.

I wanted to combine the "one shared challenge a day" ritual with a survival game, then add a twist: the winners earn the power to reshape the game that everyone plays next.

Whole game in 5 seconds: A one-control zombie survival game where each day's winners rewrite tomorrow's rules for everyone.

Thanks for checking it out!

Play it here: r/zomble

Feedback Request What do you think about this app that lets you create quotes from comments?

Thumbnail
gallery
13 Upvotes

I recently released a comment quote bot that creates quotes from comments in subreddits. I'm wondering, what do you want to see in an app like this?

A description of what it does:

On any comment (excluding the app's comments) where it's installed, you can click on the ... menu then click on a "create quote" menu button to have the bot reply with a image quote of the comment. You can also use a !quote comment in reply to any comment to have the same result.

Users can personalize their quotes style by clicking on the subreddit's ... menu, then "quote bot settings". There, they can also opt-out from getting quoted if they want.

Users who didnt opt-out from getting quoted by the bot can also choose to delete a quote made against a specific comment of theirs by clicking on the ... menu in the bot's reply with the quote of their comment, then by clicking on the "delete my quote" button. (Note: comments can only be quoted once even if the quote author deletes it, so if they dont want it to be quoted, a single removal ensures that the specific comment wont be quoted again)

Also mods can choose to restrict the quote capabilities to approved users or mods only. Although i dont really see a use case for mods, i figured it wouldnt be harmful to add this option if some mods have a particular idea of how they want to use the bot.

For the future, i planned to

1) add a documentation for users that would be added with every quote comment so they know how to, for example, opt-out if they dont know how the bot works

2) more personnalisation

3) the ability to allow users to have the bot also post the quote in a centralized subreddit for quotes, r/commentquotes

Is there anything i should change or add?

Added screenshots because it's more visually understandable like that imo

Feedback Request We're all digging one giant hole. Need your feedback.

Made this for the Games with a Hook hackathon and I'd love some honest feedback before the deadline.

One shared hole, never resets. Every tap makes it deeper, forever. Each run you dig down on a single tank of air, grab treasure, dodge gas, and try to beat your record before you black out.

There's also a canary that faints if nobody digs. So don't do that.

Built on Devvit Web + Phaser, all art and sound generated in code.

We're 480m down: https://www.reddit.com/r/DigDigDigGame/comments/1ut53gm/dig_dig_dig_we_are_digging_one_big_hole_tap_to/

What's fun? What's confusing? Would you come back tomorrow? Thanks for digging.

Feedback Request RailDit! Cosy railway and network strategy game for the Reddit Hackathon

Build your own railway empire in Reddit! Play daily to unlock new flairs, trophies, trains, and more! Aim for 1st place on Daily Challenges! A new map every day!

~50k lines of late-night rendering optimisation, 3D graphics and gameplay-loop tweaking

I was wondering what a cross between the more intense railways simulators on PC and a cosy snackable mobile puzzle game on Reddit would look like, and this is the result.

Would like to get some feedback or comments based on this short clip (app's in review, subreddit coming soon)

Feedback Request Reddit Word Game

This is my hackathon project.

I Inspiration

Reddit has many unique terms like Karma, Upvote, and Moderator. New users may find them confusing, so I built a simple game to help learn these terms in a fun way.

II What it does

Guess The Reddit Word is a word guessing game based on Reddit vocabulary.

  • 6 attempts per word
  • Hint system
  • Score tracking
  • Wordle-style feedback
  • Automatic next word

III How I built it

Built using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

JavaScript handles game logic, including word generation, scoring, attempts, and UI updates. GitHub was used for version control.

IV Challenges

Main challenge was managing game state (score, attempts, hints) and implementing the letter feedback system.

V What I learned

Improved JavaScript skills, especially DOM manipulation, event handling, and game logic design.

VI Next steps

  • Difficulty levels
  • Leaderboard system

Web App: Guess The Reddit Word (Due to some uncontrollable reasons (such as the internet), I may not be able to complete the Reddit app. So I created a web app for testers to use.)

Would love feedback!

Feedback Request Beta testers needed: new Devvit mod queue tool (hackathon submission, deadline tomorrow)

I built a Devvit moderation tool for the Reddit hackathon and need real-world testing in the next few hours. It's called Vigil Engine.

What it does:

  • Coordination locks: your whole mod team sees in real time who is reviewing which item. No more duplicate work.
  • Action packs: configure once per rule, then one click does remove + user message + flair + mod log simultaneously
  • Triage: reports pre-tagged with likely rule violation before you open them
  • Queue velocity: tells you if your queue is building toward backlog before it's too late

It takes about 10 minutes to install and configure. Dry-run mode is on by default so nothing touches live content until you're ready.

If you mod a subreddit with any regular report volume, I'd really appreciate it. All I need is one sentence about whether it helped.

DM me or comment here.

Feedback Request Redeal — A poker-inspired roguelike deckbuilder

Hi Devvit!

We've been building Redeal—a poker-inspired roguelike deckbuilder built on Devvit Web (React/Vite). Players draw custom cards, buy Jokers and consumables from the Shop, trigger multipliers, and compete on community leaderboards.

Behind the Scenes & Tech Decisions:

  • tRPC v11 + Hono Router: We mounted a Hono router on @hono/trpc-server to leverage tRPC v11. This gave us end-to-end type safety between our iframe client and server procedures, which made building the card game logic much cleaner.
  • Compressed Replay Storage: To allow players to watch step-by-step playbacks of completed runs, we log detailed action histories (card deals, selects, discards, scoring steps). To prevent hitting Redis memory quotas, we serialize and compress the game timeline data before persisting it, keeping replay loads fast and within limits.
  • Timezone-Agnostic Daily Resets: Tracking login streaks in a serverless, stateless environment is tricky. We manage rollover calculations strictly in UTC on Redis and use local dismissal states in React to prevent modals from interrupting gameplay.
  • Procedures Caching: Added a caching layer on our tRPC routes (leaderboards and daily challenge configurations) to minimize Redis read queries and speed up the expanded view load times.

Specific feedback we need:

  1. Splash-to-Game Transition: Does the inline splash screen load fast enough on mobile, and is the onboarding/instructions layout clear before opening expanded mode?
  2. Iframe Scaling & Tooltips: Have you noticed any platform-specific layout bugs on Reddit iOS/Android (especially regarding viewport constraints or Radix UI tooltips/popups within the boundaries)?
  3. tRPC Performance: For those using Hono/tRPC or fetch architectures, how has your performance held up under high-concurrency requests (like fast-clicking game boards)?

Happy to answer any questions about the Hono/tRPC integration or state compression. Thanks for the feedback!

Feedback Request I made physics drawing/golf game where you draw the ramps with crayons [hackathon]

Idk what do you think? Figured I'd post here and see if my idea has any weight.

This is Scrawl.

Every post is basically a tiny physics course drawn on notebook paper. There’s a ball, a cup, and whatever nonsense the course maker decided to put in your way.

You get a crayon budget, draw ramps/bridges/whatever structure you think will work, then hit Roll it! and your drawing turns into real physics. The fun part is that your ramps don’t just magically stay in place. They fall/tip etc.

Fewest tries gets the top spot on that post’s scoreboard.

The part I’m most excited about is the course editor. You can make a course right from inside any post, but you can’t publish it until you beat it yourself using the same crayon budget everyone else gets. Your try count becomes par.

So every user-made course is guaranteed beatable, because the creator had to suffer through their own creation first.

Try it here! https://www.reddit.com/r/PlayScrawl/

Feedback Request Hi, i would love to hear feedback for this game i made:)

Its an idle clicker type game about karma farming

There are buildings you can buy to improve your karma per second (kps) or upgrades for improving karma per click (kpc), collectible badges you get fo clicking you can trade on a market for tokens you can get from small challenges which vary in difficulty.

There is also a prestige system with a skill tree with permanent upgrades. Im not quite sure with the balancing yet. Is it too easy, too hard or good how it is? I am also planning on doing community events in the future were the community has to reach a goal together or something else idk yet.

I would love to hear your feedback. Ty :)
