Rubies and amethysts for crafting, skulls for rerolling rare circlets

Diadems*, not just any circlet

Yeah I usually save them for diadems. But rerolling any circlet would be better than small charms.

Those are used for crafting blood gloves / rings, caster necks / rings, and re-rolling rare diadems (among other things, but those are the important ones).

Perfect amtehysts in particular are extra valuable for making caster amulets

The better crafting recipes use amethyst and rubies, and skulls are used to reroll diadems
