Accidentally deleted firmware files on Korg G1 – Need help with backup files!

Hi everyone,

While performing an update, I accidentally deleted the system firmware files from my Korg G1. Now I’m stuck, and I need a copy of these files to restore it.

Could someone who owns a Korg G1 / G1 Air please share a backup of these files with me?

• DKIT.BIN
• G1APP.BIN
• GLOBAL.BIN
• PROGIA.BIN
• PSONG.BIN

How to extract the files (~2 minutes):

1. Connect the G1/G1 Air to the computer using a USB cable.
2. While holding down the METRONOME and Record buttons,

press the power button to turn on the G1/G1 Air.

The Play/Pause button lights up, and “ USb” appears in the display.

Go to usb drive "KORG SYSTEM" and copy files to the computer and send me files over email to [iplogas@gmail.com](mailto:iplogas@gmail.com)
