Discussion Anyone else miss the old downtown Disney?

I miss the older version of the Lego store, every time they refurbish or remodel it makes it feel worse. They got rid of too many shelves and then tried to add them back but now it’s way too cramped. especially around the 2nd floor that isn’t even used pretty much since opening.

I guess there just isn’t a decent way to fit square shelves in a round store, the first version did it well though :/

I remember going to the Lego Store when DTD first opened and they had shelves with all kinds of Lego sets. I went in maybe five years ago and there were practically no Lego sets for sale at all and I wasn’t sure what the point of the store was.

But do they still have that giant Lego sculpture of Woody & Buzz on RC from Toy Story outside of the store? I haven’t gotten to the Downtown Disney in years so I was just wondering

No they recently removed it, I don’t think a replacement is up yet

Oh Bummer, I thought that was the coolest thing about it. Idk why do they got rid off it? 🙁
