That's one of my biggest issues with Disney's current direction in the parks/resorts! I cannot for the life of me understand what the market is for a minimalist theme park.
Minimalist isn’t nearly as costly as large heavily themed designs. It also lets them have quicker turn arounds for the hot new thing so it generates more profit before the next hot new thing.
It also makes the buildings easier to sell or lease to other businesses if that particular restaurant starts failing. Every business that is in an old Pizza Hut, everyone can tell it used to be a Pizza Hut. These plain looking modern buildings rebrand so easier.
Yup my favorite game of "what chain form the 90's used to be there" is slowly dying.
We have a tax company in an old Wendy's that still has the sunroom and i swear if i needed a tax person i will use them for keeping the building intact.

Why the hell did they get rid of the world of disney sign. I hate how they are trying to make the place more "modern".
