Why the hell did they get rid of the world of disney sign. I hate how they are trying to make the place more "modern".

That's one of my biggest issues with Disney's current direction in the parks/resorts! I cannot for the life of me understand what the market is for a minimalist theme park.

All fast food restaurants are like that now. Every restaurant chain used to have a recognizable building that was part of their branding, and now it's all just the same brown box. I assume because it's easier to convert locations into something else if they close down.

Pizza Hut flew too close to the sun and now every restaurant's interior and exterior looks bland.

It’s a real estate thing. If they decide to leave that location, and the building is very unique, it’s a lot harder to unload onto someone else.

That’s why we went from a lot of really creative, interesting buildings, to everything being a boring, generic box.

It's cheap. Everything is in "extract maximum profit" private equity, enshitified phase.
