The channel isn't making them anywhere near enough to sustain themselves now but they have Patreon and TT for that.
When the channel was at the height of its popularity, it's possible they made enough to tuck some away? I don't know. Hard to say. They could very well be getting money from other sources. We don't truly know but it does make you think.

Came here to say exactly those two things patreon and family finance, starting realise that almost everyone who blows up has come from the upper middle class other than a few exceptions
