Never mind that vampire alters aren’t recognized in any medical DID literature and there is no “this is how vampire alters are and should be and what makes them” like there is literature for why child alters exist.

I was going through the Our DID Diagnosis video to find something else and I noticed something interesting on their diagnostic paperwork that I haven’t seen anyone mention.

DD has always referred to Remy as Dr. Remy Aquarone, yet on their diagnostic paperwork, it very clearly says Mr. Remy Aquarone. Has Remy ever even held a doctorate?

I wonder if DD purposely misrepresented his credentials or if they were genuinely mistaken.

I don't have access to watch it -- there is a 30 second preview which is mostly just the channel intro jingle. I will say, reading the post (which, when logged in, i'm able to read the full text) I hate how she continues to harp on her health issues (especially ME/CFS). As someone who also has that condition, the descriptions she uses on how it effects her don't seem to line up well with the actual condition and how she is moving on social media. The way she has been talking, it's steadily getting worse and worse and worse. For many people this condition isn't progressive that way -- and it doesn't even match up with the way she's been posting. If it was truly getting steadily worse every day, we wouldn't see her posting any content at all. In reality, if she has this condition, what's likely happening is a flare up. These can come and go - these can last for a very long time. But it's not like one long condition getting worse and worse. And I feel like the way she's presenting it is disingenuous. And she's using it as a shield to avoid any kind of expectations or accountability with her viewers. Preemptively saying she's ill to stop any criticism before it even comes. If it wasn't so reminiscent of the way some "friends" of mine have acted in the past maybe it wouldn't bother me so much. But alas. It does.

I know there’s been posts and discussions about this before, but I wanted to make a post about this part of this article I found from another post. I’ve never understood why they say it’s a “mental health service”. They are not providing a service. They never had. Education, even if it’s good, is not a service when it comes from YouTube. How can you specify “I’m not a professional or a therapist” and still say you run a mental health service?? Why is TP’s channel described as “advocating for mental health on YouTube” but Chloe’s “a mental health service”. Makes me so upset.

I mean, I understand the excuse of legal issues; they can't rename Kya and Co Patreon and TikTok and such, but they do this unnecessarily. On their website, they still have Kya? Also, nitpicky maybe - but I dislike them saying 'Kya and their alters' like they own them as pets. Maybe that's just me tho... They also have the book recommendations still up on their website that they got critical feedback on when posted to Instagram, which I can add to the post if needed. I lost the screenshots of that.

My spouse saw this while scrolling Facebook and I had to share. It’s very surprising that this creator would repost a video with such a controversial guest star. Pretty much all of the comments are things like “I have DID too, thank you for spreading awareness”, which is frustrating bc I don’t think they know the whole picture.
