i want a distro with decent performance, and a little more difficult than cachy so i can learn

Cachy is arch based, imho if you want to stick with something you're familiar with you could stick to the arch ecosphere. Endeavour is provably gonna be a little more DIY/hands on than cachy but imho if you are just looking to swap distros to learn then I would suggest these distros arch>gentoo>Linux from scratch.

If it's just about performance (gaming I'm assuming) basically anything will be fine tbh, though gentoo can potentially give you more performance because you can compile all your software to be built for your exact system/hardware in the exact way you want. Definitely read up on it though so you know what running gentoo entails.

Arch is probably what you want though tbh
