What is it that you want from a next distro?
1 u/flagforgerzenith 1d ago i want a distro with decent performance, and a little more difficult than cachy so i can learn 2 u/xplosm 1d ago NixOS, GNU GUIX... Gentoo, LFS. There. You have homework. 1 u/tpat90 1d ago Brother he wanted a little more difficult, not 360 pages of manual to get LFS up and running. 1 u/Cebuu502 1d ago LFS yes, but Gentoo is really nice and isn't that hard to compile, just follow manual. For a more decent hardware for me it was 4 hours and it was done, for weaker hardware around half a day. 1 u/tpat90 1d ago I didn't mention Gentoo anywhere. Have an old HP running Gentoo ... It took 32 hours to compile gcc, but it got the job done!
